  As a freelance electric and acoustic cellist I perform worldwide both as a soloist and as a member of string ensembles.I also own and manage the Silken Strings electric string trio/quartet.After I decided to broaden my musical style beyond my strictly classical musical training, Take That invited my trio to be an opening act in their comeback tour.Recent highlights have included giving solo electric cello performances at the Wimbledon Champions' Dinner (2 years in a row), London Fashion Week, a Rolls Royce launch in Kazakhstan and a private event for Prince Albert in Monte Carlo.I performed in duos, trios and quartets many times at the Olympic Park as well as playing for the queen during her jubilee celebrations. My Bollywood electric string duo, Ashanti Strings, performed at a global corporate event transmitted live to 70,000 people worldwide and was the opening act for the LinkedIn Talent Connect Europe conference; we were also the opening act for India Fashion Week 2015.My electric string trio/quartet, Silken Strings, performs at high profile corporate events worldwide and was recently a headline act at the John Lennon Peace Concert in Bermuda.I have played for various senior royals in the UK and abroad and regularly appeared on TV supporting artists such as Gary Barlow, Leona Lewis, Cheryl Cole, Rihanna, Sugababes, Il Divo and Westlife. I have toured with Russell Watson and Aled Jones.My musical style ranges from classical through to pop and Bollywood and my unique Electric Cello Show.
