At the core of my philosophy lies the belief in the innate resilience and potential for growth within each person. I firmly believe that no matter how challenging or dark the present circumstances may seem, there is always hope for a brighter future.Drawing from a diverse range of therapeutic approaches and evidence-based techniques, I am committed to tailoring each session to meet the unique needs my clients. Whether it's finding purpose and direction, managing anxiety and depression, or navigating difficult relationships, I am committed to accompanying my clients on their journey towards hope and transformation. My previous career involved working in public communications agencies in Hong Kong, and the experiences learned there has been invaluable in my other current role as the operations director of Art Bureau, an independent art advisory company with offices in Hong Kong and New York. Working in the art industry has given me an appreciation for the transformative power of art in tapping into people’s emotions and developing new perspectives. I look forward to integrating this passion into my counselling practice. As a person of Korean and Chinese descent who has lived in multiple cities from Seoul, Toronto, Beijing and Hong Kong, I have a deep understanding of acculturation issues and am able to work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
