I am a Communications Manager at Aurora Cultural Centre, a thriving multi-disciplinary arts organization. With a MA in Professional Communication and over 2 decades of experience, I have a passion for creating and delivering innovative and impactful cultural initiatives that connect, inspire, and educate diverse audiences. I am also a bilingual communicator, fluent in English and French, and recognized with multiple awards for my achievements and contributions in the cultural field.My core competencies include strategic communications, research, community and sponsor engagement, and performing arts programming. I have successfully managed and expanded the portfolio of performing arts programs, including founding and directing the popular music series and family programming, which sold out 58% of houses in 2017-18 season. I have also sourced and negotiated contracts with artist talent, developed and managed budgets, and secured grants and sponsorships. Additionally, I have demonstrated leadership and versatility by serving as the Interim Executive Director for three months, ensuring stability and a seamless transition to a new Executive Director.
