I am a Biologist, specialist in botany and plant evolutionary ecology. My research focuses on plant diversity, functional ecology, quantitative genetics, and plant-animal interactions in tropical ecosystems at different spatial scales. I am interested in forest ecology, climate change research, interdisciplinary projects, and applied projects in areas like ecological restoration and sustainability.I am experienced in planning and executing scientific research projects, scientific writing, field and laboratory work, and teaching. In addition, I am training as a scientific illustrator and feel passionate about the art-science intersection. Also, I am interested in multilingual scientific communication and the impact of English on the professional development of young scientists in Latin America.
