My role was to keep all EndGame's boutique software products running, and make sure our clients were satisfied. I provided Azure and Terraform expertise to our product development squads throughout the software development lifecycle. Our typical tech stack for products such as nodmedia.co.nz included React, C#, and .NET running on Azure App Services, backed by Azure SQL and Azure Storage. I was also responsible for running software on-premise at one of NZ's largest banks, and maintained a rapidly scaling distributed NodeJS and MongoDB micro-services application for surgicalpartners.com.au for three years. During my last 12 months at EndGame I onboarded treesthatcount.co.nz (running on AWS), and built infrastructure for our new playbooks.live and jobloads.co.nz clients. For all EndGame's products, I was the person our clients called when they needed to escalate an issue. I also operated all of EndGame's internal mission-critical tools, including GitLab CI, Octopus Deploy, and network security appliances. I was People leader for my mid-sized DevOps team, including regular 1:1s and working with them on career development.

I provided comprehensive QA and support services for approximately 15 software products. My responsibilities included refining requirements with stakeholders, writing and executing manual test cases, and curating automated tests. It was also my responsibility to resolve support requests, to synthesise customer feedback into actionable advice, and to develop tools to make support and testing more efficient. As the senior member of EndGame’s QA department I mentored team members on testing principles and processes.

By mid-2014 I had completed the process of bringing Acceptance Testing of Spark’s DSL and Fibre broadband products in-house. This involved collating requirements from across the Spark technical community, consulting with stakeholders to determine testing scope, and developing test scripts and tools. In conjunction with my Test Manager, I provided feedback on requirement changes, maintained testing capability, liaised with manufacturers, managed defects and guided others in BAU test execution.

As a member of the Spark Device Testing team in Wellington I performed Acceptance Testing on mobile phones and other cellular products. I became the subject-matter expert and automated the reporting process for cellular acoustics testing. In late 2013 I was tasked with bringing Spark’s DSL and Fibre broadband modem testing in-house.
