Under the MCUB methodology, partner credit unions will restructure their operations into dynamic financial institutions following safe and sound management principles that will lead in innovation of product design. Transferred the Savings and Credit with Education (SCWE) methodology to participating savings and credit cooperatives, a micro finance methodology developed by Freedom from Hunger, a private volunteer organization based in Davis, California.

Was instrumental in the development and conduct of training programs for Small Coconut Farmers Organizations (SCFO’s) and Cooperatives with the objective of enhancing management skills in the marketing of coconut based products to local Oil Mills and other product sellers. Enhanced organizational management skills of the coconut farmer participants and linking them with local and national sources of operating capital. Project Area of Coverage included the whole of Region 11 in Mindanao

Managed the financial services department of the development agency in behalf of European funding agencies (i.e. Swiss Catholic Lenten Fund (SCLF), Bread for the World, ICCO, etc) – in the conduct of financial audits and internal control evaluation a/assessments for donor agencies funding local people’s organizations and people’s institutions all over the island of Mindanao. Provided finance management services for European funding agencies and local peoples institutions and organizations. Project Area of Coverage – Entire Mindanao
