Reported to the senior research engineer for the CertainTeed Roofing business unit. Lead a project to create an image analysis set-up. Ran mechanical testing on the glass mat, including tensile testing, tear testing, and loss on ignition. Used data analysis to attempt to find a correlation between the mechanical properties and the image analysis. Python was used to run the experiments and was utilized along side Minitab to do the data analysis on the experiments. Experimentation was conducted to gather a better understanding of the mechanical properties of the glass mat as a whole.

Reported to the lead materials engineer at the PCC Airfoils ceramics division. Led a project in an attempt to refine the casting process by adjusting the particle size distribution of the ceramic slurry. Efforts were conducted in an attempt to combat quality defects such as cracking, and heat check of final cast product. Collaborated with many different engineering teams working to identify different manufacturing defects and root cause analysis's to resolve these defects.

Lead a quality control initiative to identify, and quantify defects within the ceramic fiber mat used for exhaust components. Also ran functionally testing of the defective parts using various mechanical tests. Worked cross functionally with various engineering teams to identify and combat seasonality issues within the product line. Assisted R&D engineers with the start up of a new product line
