Dr. L. Kathleen Roberts is a U.S. lawyer with twenty years’ experience representing victims and survivors of human rights violations and atrocity crimes in litigation. She previously served as Legal Director for the Center for Justice & Accountability (CJA). During her time at CJA, Dr. Roberts led or supervised investigation and litigation of impact cases on behalf of victims and survivors of atrocities from twelve countries spanning five continents. Dr. Roberts has assisted local practitioners in international crimes investigation and prosecution in Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Lithuania (for Belarus), Kenya, Korea (for North Korea), Kosovo, The Philippines, and Tunisia.
