I am a historian who works as a curator and senior researcher at ROMU – a regional museum of cultural history, centred around the historic town of Roskilde, Denmark.The museum deals with a vide range of topics, from the first Neandertal settlements to contemporary youth culture. Its exhibitions are spread over several exiting locations, including Roskilde Museum, Lejre Museum, Færgegården in Frederikssund and Ragnarock, the national museum of pop and rock.During my years as a curator and senior researcher at various museums, I have mainly been occupied by the cultural history of industrial society in general, and of working life and industrial heritage specifically. These are topics that I have written about, made exhibitions about and talked about on radio and on TV.
