I am a Family Nurse Practitioner Student at Samuel Merritt University, where I am expanding my knowledge and skills in the healthcare field. I have over two years of experience in public health and clinical research, and I hold a Master of Public Health from West Coast University and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Keck Graduate Institute. My goal is to improve health outcomes and quality of care for diverse populations, especially those with chronic conditions.As a former research intern at California Right Care Initiative and Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, I contributed to various projects that aimed to identify and address the gaps and needs in the healthcare systems and services in LA County. I worked with multidisciplinary teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data, and to produce reports and presentations that informed policy and practice decisions. I also conducted literature reviews on various topics related to chronic conditions, such as hypertensive renal disease, and synthesized the findings and recommendations. Through these experiences, I demonstrated my ability to conduct rigorous and relevant research, and to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.I am currently working as a Registered Nurse in Fresno, California and looking forward to expanding my knowledge especially in diverse, underserved populations.
