During my PhD I have investigated a wide variety of topics including production scheduling, warehousing, offshore construction, (multi-)project scheduling, incentive contracting using techniques from operations as well as artificial intelligence and machine learning. The recurrent theme in my research is the combination of elements from various research domains in order to solve complex real world problems.Alongside my research I also lectured and created materials for courses at Ghent University, Vlerick Business School and University College London. I was also heavily invested in the guidance and evaluation of master's dissertations at the faculty of economics at UGent.
