I love watching children learn and discover. I love watching them when they try something new, and they have that moment of fear that fades to amazement when they have their “Aha Moment”. I love being a part of it and helping them get to that moment of discovery.I am also passionate about design and manufacturing in the United States. In 1999, I co-founded a textile & product design studio with an emphasis on modern design. I believe in sourcing and manufacturing in America to strengthen our economy.I launched Modestics, an e-commerce and blog dedicated to American Made Modern Design in 2012. I promote and connect American manufacturers, suppliers, production companies and distributors across the USA. Partner with American designers and businesses to collaborate on maximizing their visibility to consumers.
