Sturge Industries Ltd has been in existence since 1925, when the company started by supplying various engineering product’s. In 1979 Sturge acquired Birmingham Associated Chain Co Ltd and started to manufacture ball chain. As well as manufacture of the chain its self we have our own metal slitting and plating facilities that ensure complete control of the process from start to finish. This means that we are able to supply customers with a top-quality product. To back this we are ISO 9001:2015 accredited. Sturge has been able to build upon its decades of experience in ball chain to become a truly international supplier. We currently have customers in over thirty countries, ranging from Europe, the Far East and North America, a figure that continues to grow year on year.We supply to many of the worlds high profile blind companies. As well as supplying ball chain to blind companies Sturge ball chain is also used for interior design, shimmer screens, sanitary ware and has been seen on UK television. Sturge ball chain was also used to make a stage curtain for The Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
