GeophysicistT-C Oil Company, Llc Jan 2019 - PresentTexas•Geophysical expertise for existing, developing, and new exploration projects. Identify and assist in prospect identification and subsurface geological interpretation including 2D/3D seismic data subsurface mapping. •Revitalizing and increasing production/reserves through G&G evaluation and well planning for horizontal drilling applications in conventional reservoirs.•Project Management: Build, maintain, and analyze projects with seismic data, well logs, and geologic mapping for exploratory oil and gas play and basin analysis.•Seismic acquisition design, seismic processing, and interpretation. •Utilize advanced seismic interpretation techniques to identify and characterize assets using traditional AVO techniques, pre- and post-stack seismic attributes, and other indicators to predict lithology and reservoir quality.•Successful reprocessing of seismic data to specifically aid in determining fault geometry in a mature field and illuminate additional prospective fault blocks with bypassed hydrocarbons. First well resulted in 120+ BOPD in an untested fault block within a 4.5 MMBO shallow oil field. Additional locations have been drilled and successfully encountered additional pay sands.

Geoscientist/GeophysicistPulliam Oil And Gas, Inc. Aug 2014 - Dec 2018Colorado•Processed newly acquired 3D seismic data for project in the Powder River Basin. Reprocessed single 2D seismic lines to integrate with new 3D. Involved in analog field study to properly assess exploration and development field potential in area of interest. (Wyoming/South Dakota)•Involved in entire project from land and leasing, seismic acquisition and processing, interpretation and evaluation, and drilling oversight.•Strategically reprocessed vintage seismic 3D in order to image shallow untested targets. 100% drilling success rate to date. (East Texas)•Seismic data loading and quality control for field data, pre-stack seismic data, and post-stack seismic data. Analyze and assess various data formats (SEG-Y, SEG-D, etc.); examine header information and correctly assign byte locations to each description; geometry correction; noise removal and quality assessment of data; first-break analysis; processing; migration; conditioning; final byte locations and loading procedures.•Data conditioning for post-stack data in AVO sensitive environments and highly faulted areas to ensure quality imaging near fault areas and preserving amplitudes.•Pre-stack data analysis including AVO cross-plot and gradient breakdown to properly characterize reservoir properties and highlight optimal drilling locations in new field development.
