I am also an adjunct lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic in the School of Life Skills & Communication, teaching modules such as critical thinking and effective writing.For close to two decades, I was a full-time editor and writer of financial news articles. I enjoyed the pace of the job and the opportunity to work with and learn from some incredibly smart people. As time went by, I felt an increasing need for greater personal growth. Several years ago, I decided to challenge myself on a different path. I obtained a graduate diploma in counselling psychology and subsequently a Master's degree in counselling. Along the way, I did editing on the side and taught a course in basic digital skills. I also revived my jewellery-making skills by repurposing pieces of jade from my late aunt at a little handmade venture.I believe life is colourful and worth exploring at any age.
