Ten years ago, I was able to leave work for personal reasons after a long, rewarding career. Now I seek to return to work performing useful tasks which use my training and experience. I do not seek to return to management.Since leaving the regular workforce, I have completed continuing education in order to maintain a level of current capability. In 2019, I completed 18 college semester hours of Computer Aided Drafting coursework, using the AutoCAD and SolidWorks applications, earning “A” grades. My CAD instructor will vouch for my ability with automated drafting applications. I can quickly learn new computer based applications. I have engineering experience with both liquid petroleum and natural gas pipeline systems, as well as mid-stream facilities. I have exposure to pipelines transporting other materials, and to electric co-generation facilities.I am a non-traditional candidate, bringing value at a bargain cost.I will be pleased to perform routine or repetitive tasks which utilize my engineering or drafting skills, as I am not seeking a path for advancement. I look forward to challenging work which reinforces and improves my skills. For the right position, I would accept perhaps as little as $18 per hour. If the position requires a higher level of skill, experience, and ability, I would expect to be compensated competitively based on, and following, your positive assessment of my value add. I will consider full-time or part-time positions, either as a direct hire or contract. I will be equally pleased to work as a draftsman, a technician, or an engineer. I will go where the work is.I am in a position to be the ideal “overload” employee, called in during periods of high demand, and going home when workload is slack. I do not require health insurance, paid holidays and vacation, or other benefits. I believe the company which hires me would be pleased with the production they receive.I can be reached either through this profile or by email: ThibThum1@aim.com.
