• Launched gita, a cargo-carrying robot built to follow people on the go, with my colleagues at PFF.• Designed and wrote the controller which defines how gita follows the person its paired with, its core feature.• Designed filtering techniques to improve tracking.• Developed code to perform inferences on a CNN in Caffe, and then optimized for the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 with TensorRT.• Optimized an algorithm which compares CNN inferences over time, making it feasible to run online and use comparisons in a core feature.• Designed and implemented physical state estimation for gita via a fusion of IMU, LIDAR, and other sensor data.• Helped architect a custom message serialization and transport library by developing a performant serialization method for use with ZeroMQ.• Modeled the dynamics of our prototype in order to inform the mechanical design of our production model.• Pitched and demonstrated gita to potential clients, alongside our C-suite and independently, at various events, conferences, and meetings.

• Received a student research grant to continue project conducted in the Summer of 2018. • Invited to present research at the Acoustical Society of America conference in November of 2018.

• Received the Maneval Fellowship from the College of Engineering to conduct research as part of the Distinguished Summer Research Fellowship program. • Project concerned analysis of cavitation activity in a commercial fuel injector. Involved computational and analytical modal analysis and development of an apparatus for studying high-pressure flow.

• Received a research grant through BU's UROP program to conduct research in the Physical Acoustics Laboratory under Professor Glynn Holt.• Project concerned the relationship of NaOH (Sodium Hydroxide) concentration with SCL (sonno-chemiluminescence) intensity. Involved application of acoustic principles, and design of custom apparatus around ultrasonic resonators.

Aided in teaching physics courses in discussion-based classroom settings. Led office hours and review sessions.
