Postdoctoral Research in the "AutoDrive" Project: fail-aware, fail-safe, and fail-operational integrated electronic components, Electrical/Electronic, architectures as well as embedded software systems for highly and fully automated driving to make future mobility safer, more efficient, affordable, and end-user acceptable.

I have been working as a research assistant in the RobeSafe Group since 2009, at the Department of Electronics, University of Alcalá where I finished my PhD in 2017 with title "Laser-Based Detection and Tracking of Moving Obstacles to Improve Perception of Unmanned Ground Vehicles"During these years I have collaborated in several research projects:- 2015-2017: ABS4SOW (Localization and behaviour recognition of people in shopping malls)- 2014-2016: ROBOSHOP (ROBOtic guide for SHOP: navigation system development)- 2012-2014: ABSYNTHE (Abstraction, Synthesis, and Integration of Information for Human-Robot Teams) and PROPINA project (Reseach Robotic Hardware Platform)- 2010-2011: GUIADE (Autonomous vehicles guide in public transports, www.proyectoguiade.com)- 2010-2013: RoboCity2030 II (Service robots to improve the quality of life of citizens)- 2009: SISLOPEWI (LOcalization SYStem based on WiFi signal)- 2008: Pay as you drive: This project analyzes drivers behaviour and detects their sleepiness.
