· Process payroll for 400-430 commission, salary, hourly, and bonus employees. · Print and distribute all payroll vouchers to department managers in nine dealerships · Balancing payroll taxes and remitting · Calculate WCB for each department and handle WCB claims · Set up new employees · Add new employees to our benefit plan and MSP via internet · Terminate employees from our benefit plan and MSP via internet · Remittance for Benefits and MSP ­ all dealerships · Handle Benefit short term and long term claims · ROE's · Answer all payroll enquires via phone and email · Keep track of vacation and sick days in files · Year end ­ T4's and T2200's over 500 + this year · Assist HR with projects with various other payroll issues

· Personally involved in the following aspects of ensuring accurate biweekly pay for 500+ employees in a multi-union environment. · Processing of Taxation forms and direct deposit information for new employees along with enrollment in appropriate leave banks, general deductions, and Pension. · Maintaining all records during their employment and then issuing ROE's and termination of records at such time positions are vacated. · Process all documentation and transfer of funds to banking institutions for Retirees. · Gathering and monitoring information from timekeepers to enter into Payroll system to create payment to employees. · Direct contact with outside agencies including Revenue Canada, WCB, ICBC, Lawyers and Municipal Pension Corporation on behalf of employees · Troubleshooting with individual employees to explain and if needed, resolve their individual issues.

· Performed any and all payroll related functions · Responsible for all manual data entry of employee information and timecards. · Responsible for the collation and distribution of cheques and EFT slips for 575+ employees in 25 departments. · Balanced all payroll related accounts on a monthly basis, handled and submitted remittances, oversaw Benefits plan, etc.

· Assisted Controller with various accounting and bookkeeping functions (billings, payables, receivables) · Handled payroll for approximately 60-70 employees, in four provinces. · Handled fleet licensing for 70+ tractor units and 40 trailers
