As a volunteer with Nemours BrightStart Early Literacy Program, I worked in special literacy projects. I volunteered in the Surgery Department of the Nemours Children's Hospital (NCH) where I enjoyed greeting and supporting families whose children were having surgery. Oversaw an annual budget of $20 million. As Superintendent I continually worked to improve and sustain community involvement and support of the schools. Under my leadership, student performance and staff morale improved.

In the position of Middle-High School Principal (grades 7-12), I supervised all curricular and building decisions for the school. I worked with counselors, teachers, and staff to provide enhanced opportunities for the students to prepare them to successfully meet the challenges of adulthood.

Worked under the Director of Education to supervise the occupational education programs at the Adirondack Educational Center, and special education programs located in five satellite school districts in the Saranac Lake area of New York.

As Elementary Principal, I worked with staff, parents and community to improve student performance and resouces for the school. I oversaw all Kindergarten through 5th grade programs located in two buildings.
