I produce content for clients big and small, including The LEGO Group, as well as for my own YouTube and Instagram accounts.I specialize in music video editing with a sense of flow and rhythm, stop motion animation, especially using LEGO, and I have a passion for practical effects.I am proficient in Adobe Premiere, and enjoy sound editing as well, often sourcing sound effects from freesound.org, creating my own musical score or voiceover, or working with a sound designer/composer. When the project calls for it, I am equally comfortable in front of as behind the camera.I use StopMotionStudio Pro app on an iPad Pro for animation. I have a DIY approach to set building, puppet fabrication, and lighting to make the best use of available materials at any budget.

I love to create events with sense of whimsy- from the themes and decor, accompanying video or art installations, and a variety show that might include live music, drag, burlesque, puppetry, clowning, juggling and other flow arts, and less definable performance art.Some of the biggest variety shows I've produced from the ground up were a Star Wars parody show at the Vulcan in Oakland, and a surreal multi-media event called Into a Dreamland at Stud, SF which had an afterparty takeover of Glammamore's Pillows at Powerhouse. At these and other events I booked the acts, communicated with the venues, set up systems for ticketing and artist payout, decorated and cleaned up.Another fun opportunity was a monthly residency at Flore in SF for Castro Art Walk. In addition to setting up and operating a craft table, I helped decorate for seasonal themes, helped book visual artists to display, and produced short drag shows in a space not set up for performance.In 2018 I had the honor of producing the Faerie Freedom Village stage, SF Pride's longest running stage, and the only non-commercial zone which means everyone involved was a volunteer. I booked 6 hours of entertainment including DJs, live bands, and variety performers. I also emceed, stage-managed, and performed.In 2019 I was asked to produce an interactive carnival midway at the annual Castro Street Fair. I created several games, drafted fellow entertainers to join me as carnival barkers, and handled most of the set up and strike.For Talk Like A Pirate Day 9/19/20 I produced Captain Blue's Island, an immersive event that was hosted on Zoom. We held one family-friendly show in the afternoon and one 18+ in the evening. The events included live music, trivia, scavenger hunts, history, craft tutorials, comedy, and ample opportunities for the audience to interact as pirate characters. I handled the ticketing and artist payouts, and most of the promotion

I am a singer songwriter who plays electric ukulele and often records and produces her own music. I have two LPs available with The Sweet Trade, a band I performed with extensively throughout the SF Bay Area 2009-2019, including San Francisco Pride, El Rio, and one time when we were a wedding band! I’ve also released several singles under my name of Llano River Blue and have designed album covers and directed music videos for all these projects.I have performed several solo shows, combining personal narrative, spoken word, and original music at Sonoma County Pride, Body Taboo Defiance at Shelton Theater, The Body Political at the African American Cultural Complex, The Marsh Theater's Monday Night Marsh program, and at Potrero Stage as part of Playground SF's Solo Fest.As a drag performer, I have performed and emceed in legendary San Francisco night spots like Stud, Mody Dick, QBar, and Powerhouse. I have performed at San Francisco and Sonoma County Pride festivals, and been part of many Jake Ward Presents events in Sonoma County from North Bay Cabaret, Quantum Cabaret, and May the Fourth be With You.Outside of California shows include Superstar Divas Megashow at CC Slaughters in Portland, OR, Glitterbomb in Denton, TX, and I was a selected performer at Austin International Drag Festival in Austin, TX.

Working with children in a wide age range, 3-12, I set up a craft table at various events with all the materials needed to create a myriad of projects. I like to let the kids' creativity lead and then help them achieve their vision, though certain events have required specific projects with specialized materials.The bulk of my experience was a two year weekly residency at Castro Farmers' Market which increased attendance by 15% and gave parents more time to shop while their children were occupied. Libraries and birthday parties are other places you might find me crafting with kids.I've also crafted with adults at the Castro Art Walk and street fairs, which presents a special challenge to convince adults to find their inner child and get creative!Pivoting to virtual education during shelter-in-place, I taught a 6 week Draw Your Own Comic Book course to a small group of 6-9 year olds over zoom. I also hosted weekly "art hang outs" for several weeks which was a casual place for creative kids to connect with each other and share what they were working on.

I had the pleasure of joining Maya Gonzalez and Mathew Smith-Gonzalez of San Francisco's Reflection Press for a series of Gender Inclusivity workshops with SF Bay Area educators.We worked with groups through First 5 Alameda and Bananas, and presented at the Teachers for Social Justice Conference 2019.The Genderwheel curriculum written by author and activist Maya Gonzalez grounds an understanding gender and sexuality in history and nature for a holistic approach to understanding natural variation. My role in teaching was sometimes to work with small break out groups on hands-on activities, or presenting a section of the lecture.

Although this immersive digital art museum did not last long, I got so much out of the experience I had to include it. I survived two rounds of layoffs before they closed their doors, and the team that made the final cut were an incredible bunch of people who had to do everything. Any given day or hour, I might be;Working the front desk converting walk-ins to paying customers, adding names to our waitlist and communicating to my team any special needs a group might have.Acting as docent in the LMNL exhibit, a maze of art that reacts to movement and touch, enticing people into interacting with the art, making sure pathways remained clear, and that dark corners were free from mischief.Working in the augmented reality exhibit, The Unreal Garden, fitting customers with the Microsoft Hololense, troubleshooting issues the tech might be having, and keeping customers happy through various glitches, as well as teaching them how to use the augmented reality technology to interact with the virtual art.

Over my 8 years working on this seasonal retail location on Pier 39, I went from just being a sales associate to running the show and increased sales by 40%Hired and trained a new crew every year.Bridged language gaps in selling bath products to international tourists, many of whom did not speak English. Designed signage and displays for merchandising.Tracked inventory, ordered product, kept our limited storage space strategically organized with 25lb bags of salt and bulk bottles for filling.

The Gate 510 is a massive warehouse space with retail on the ground floor. Upstairs, dozens of small businesses rent space, from offices, fabrication, and tech. I was on the team that created culture and community which helped increase tenant occupancy by 30%.Hosted weekly happy hours for 50-100 tenants, leading our small team in setting up food and drink and clean up. I also greeted and signed in guests. For special events I played music or acted as ambient entertainment.Designed seasonal decor and lead a small team in fabrication and installation in a massive warehouse space (I got to drive a genie lift!)Welcomed new and potential tenants to The Gate 510, gave tours and answered questions.
