Conduct Asset Protection Awareness Training to all levels of store management Conduct and maintain and external theft training program for all levels of store management Conduct Internal Theft Awareness training for all levels of store management Conduct monthly Asset Protection Audits Recap audit results with store manager and District Manager with recommendations to eliminate exposure identified in the audit process Manage store self audit process ensuring compliance (Bank Deposits, Cash Counts, high value merchandise counts, etc.) Insure all stores are properly prepared or inventory scans Assist as corporate representative in the inventory process (High Shrink Stores) Assist with post inventory reconciliation Shrink Programs: Participate it store manager meetings and discuss company Asset protection programs (i.e. shoplifting, audits, internal theft awareness, HEAT line, etc.) Develop new and innovative shrink control programs Ensure maintenance of all EAS and CCTV equipment Partner with District Managers to decrease shrink Provide necessary documentation and evidence to asset protection matters, prepare reports on Asset Protection activity and submit as directed Conduct Management new hire integrity interviews and ensure all pre-employment screening is complete Investigations: Respond to and investigate all instances of suspected employee dishonesty Respond to and investigate all internal reports of associate dishonesty in area of responsibility Conduct dishonest employee interviews as directed Research and respond to all cash over/short reporting Investigate external theft issues as needed and provide support Investigate external credit fraud issues as directed Complete investigative reports and compile all investigative data Research exception reports and develop investigative leads Follow up on tip line information Work with outside agencies (i.e. police and local courts to bring cases to resolution.
