Profile bio

About Llew Roberts

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲. That’s how my colleagues describe me. I’m a problem solver who is excited about taking on complicated challenges. I enjoy working with tech, product, design, service, and marketing teams collaboratively. Exploration all started with my upbringing in Taiwan and Tanzania, where my father, a civil engineer, took the family as an ex-pat. It encouraged me to explore culture, nature, and how things click. When companies form but don’t have a technical team, I enter the picture. I’ve worked within many domains for creating web services, apps, and devices like the startup panic button. As a client information collector, I develop the project roadmap for tech development and staff hiring requirements. My philosophy is to fight for what you believe in and be an active part in making decisions, but once a decision is made, support that decision 100%. No holding back because it didn’t go your way.One of the biggest ironies for working in tech occurred during my 4 and a half years at Microsoft. I recall being 1 of only 3 employees at Microsoft with VP approval to have an internet connection at my desk. Things certainly have changed in the past 2 decades!I look forward to working and enjoying the next decade of innovation.𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲 ● Agile methodologies ● Product development engineering● Product management ● Software development● Technology project roadmap● User Experience (UX) design𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞● Communication skills● Cross-functional team leadership ● Entrepreneurship● Innovative design & decision making● Product technical strategy execution ● Startup cross-functional problem-solving
