OBJECTIVE: Continue as part-time (contract) pastor at Grand Valley Lutheran Church, rural Canton, SDEDUCATION: Bachelor of Arts (Social Science) degree; Master of Science (HRM/D) degree; Master of Divinity, (Pastoral Theology)SUMMARY: Rev. Lindgren became an ordained clergy of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in 1997, & is recently retired. He is certified (1997) as a pre-marriage counselor through the Life Innovations, Inc. Prepare-Enrich program. Prior to becoming an ordained clergy, he became a Stephen Minister in 1989; & a Trained Stephen Leader during his internship in San Diego in 1996. EXPERIENCE: Prior to ordained ministry, Rev. Lindgren acquired over 34 years church, military & corporate supervisory & management experience; served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, which included being a (air controller) graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School (aka, "Top Gun"), retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-8). He was employed in the defense tactical computer design industry as a Systems Analyst & Software Quality Assurance Engineer; took part in test analysis of Callbox (Motorist Aid System) installation/network upgrade projects in southern Calif. counties (San Diego, Riverside, Orange, & L.A.).
