Played a pivotal role in supporting a diverse team of planners, urban designers, and landscape architects. In addition to carrying out the typical responsibilities of a Project Urban Designer, including preparation of technical studies, developing alternatives, drafting specific plans, and producing traditional print graphic design, I also took on a wide range of technology- and media-related projects, primarily web design and development, video content and animations, 3D modeling, visual simulations, and map making.

Worked closely with the Vice President of Research Technology to drive the company’s efforts to promote its position as the leader in rental market research. As a design consultant, I focused on information architecture for marketing projects and executed the company's data visualization and print collateral.

During the three-month internship, I helped review and further develop the City's Energy & Climate Action Plan (ECAP). As part of the process, I was tasked with researching innovative methods for reducing carbon emissions and minimizing carbon footprint (i.e., carbon funding). Other key projects included improving administrative processes such as the City's Special Events Permit Application and co-authoring a grant proposal for Oakland's Comprehensive Transportation Policy Plan (CTPP) to the Sustainable Growth Council's (SGC) "Sustainable Communities Planning Grant & Incentives Program."

Under supervision, managed and provided support for Landscape Architect and Geology students, and the software they use. Purchased new equipment, configured and installed software and equipment, replaced and recycled old equipment, ran backups, and proactively worked with students to provide necessary databases, software, and services to meet project requirements and produce deliverables.
