Associate Professor in Business management at the University of Cantabria (Spain)🎓 TEACHING 🎓 My teaching experience covers among others, courses in business economics, creation of companies, human resources management, and retail banking, at graduate and post graduate degrees. 🔎🐟 RESEARCH 🐟🔍 My main research lines are business competitiveness in aquaculture, seafood value chains and markets, and the economic management of the aquaculture, fisheries and seafood processing industries. I have published more than 20 articles and book chapters in scientific journals and publishers of international impact, and I am co-author of more than 60 contributions in national and international scientific conferences. 📁 PROJECTS 📁 I have participated in more than 20 research projects. I am the main researcher at the UC in MedAID (http://www.medaid-h2020.eu/). 📣 EXPERT 📣 I regularly attend as invited expert in the aquaculture economics and fish processing industry working groups at the Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries (STECF) of the European Commission.
