After serving 4 years in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era, I returned home to help my Dad on the family farm. After being in the agriculture industry for 30 years, I semi-retired from farming. I excepted a job offer from a Chinese Corp. (Speedling Inc.) to Manage their Greenhouse Operations in Alamo, TX. This position later involved 2 additional locations in Mexico. Linares Y Torreón. I held this position for 6 years. I then excepted an offer and moved to the seed industry, which turned out to be a huge mistake. From there I moved into the Oil Industry. I work 3 years for SWZ Land Services, reclaiming properties after seismic operations had left surface unsuitable for surface owners. I then excepted an offer, an became a Surface Operations Consultant in the Oil Industry for PXP (Plains Exploration & Production) Oil Company. Later it sold and I then performed the same Surface Consultant activities for FMOG (Freeport McMoRan) Oil Company. I left the gas industry as a Petroleum Landman, working for Encana Oil & Gas (USA), brokering through Custer Land Services.
