Provided a broad range of engineering support for Windstream customers. Activities varied from troubleshooting network events, implementing new services on existing networks, integrating new networks into existing infrastructures, and consulting services.Primary focuses were on managed security services with a focus on Fortinet technologies, enterprise scale networking, and unified communications.• Acted in a team leader capacity in both our Enterprise Data group and our Security Operations center. Was a final point of escalation for customer issues, overseeing technical development of team members, ensuring departmental goals were met, identifying common cause for network events, and developing technical documentation and technical processes for the departments.• Experience with a wide range of network environments and integrating multiple technologies.• Extensive experience with carrier grade networks; from physical infrastructure, transport, advanced routing, VoIP, security, and cloud services.• Was a liaison to our IP Engineering team on implementing new products and services for Windstream to provide a support perspective on potential issues with new products and resources needed to support them.• Worked with customer accounts which were at risk of changing service providers to provide meaningful resolutions to their issues and restore their faith in Windstream services.• Worked with our vendors to isolate bugs and suggest product enhancements.
