I continued my BCS3/S2MC responsibilities under the U.S. Army's new contract with Cape Fox.

Under Contract to the US Army at Ft. Belvoir, Va., I lead a team of DBAs supporting BCS3 the Batte Command Sustainment Support System.

Mr. Bryant joined TranTech as a Sr. Oracle Consultant to provide subject matter expertise in analyzing RFPs and preparing proposals from a technical perspective. Mr. Bryant also supports Corporate Oracle database tuning; website optimization, and all other technical support as needed.

Sr. Oracle DBA, Mr. Bryant also performed similar duties on MySQL and SQL Server Databases (LERG Processing, automating data transfer and load routines). He helped plan for the installation of Oracle’s CBRM Telecom Billing Application. He wrote multiple Linux Shell Scripts using KORN shell and BASH and managed CRON job scheduling on several of the hosts. Responsible for performance tuning of the AHLTA – DOD Medical Records Database, a 17 Terabyte Oracle 9.2.0.7 database running on an HP 128 processor Superdome with a 45-terabyte disk array. This system processes over 8,000,000 transactions per hour making it one of the most transactionally active Oracle OLTP databases in the world. Under contract to OrbImage, Inc. As DBA / Architect of a new MySQL Database, Mr. Bryant analyzed the requirements for a new application, designed the database, and wrote a series of new utility programs in C using the MySQL C API to support a data subscription service for OrbImage Satellite data. He also completed research and analysis of co-location vendors in support of another system that OrbImage needed to move outside their firewall.
