One of the most fabled movie studios in the world with a 70-plus year history and home to over a thousand feature films -- many of which are now considered classics of Chinese cinema -- and thousands of hours of television content. After doing startups, eSports, animation and pay television, I'm back again to help update the million square foot facility, extending its capabilities beyond traditional film into the era of digital content and all of the emerging global platforms.

A partnership with Pat Lee (comic artist of Transformers, Batman, Ironman, Superman, Spiderman and X-Men, among others), Secret Lab is a small creative house which partners with big media companies to create original intellectual properties for film, television, animation, games and publishing. Lloyd brings a 20 year track record as film producer/executive of two iconic Asian studios Golden Harvest and Shaw Brothers working with such icons as Jackie Chan, Samo Hung and Ang Lee. Founded in 2009, Secret Lab comprises a small creative core team, and has collaborated with larger studios and corporations including Bandai-Namco, TV-Tokyo, Apple, Nike, Diesel, Time-Warner, Imagimax Studio in Bangkok, Infinite Frameworks in Singapore and MGM Macau.

Founded in 2008, the All Sports Network (ASN) was Asia's first 24-hour High Definition sports television network. In 2016, ASN partnered with Time Inc. - Sports Illustrated, and was rebranded as Sports Illustrated Asia. As one of Asia's most-watched sports channels, it broadcast the USA's biggest leagues: The NFL, NHL, NCAA and Nascar; and also extreme sports and Esports. It was seen in over ten markets on some of Asia's largest pay TV platforms.

Shaw Studios, which launched over 1,000 Chinese films, many of which are now considered classics, is one of the most established and venerated film and entertainment empires in Asia, with a history extending back to the 1930's. In 2004, the company launched 1 million square feet of new digital and film production and post production facilities in Hong Kong. Lloyd helped oversee the final stages of construction and implemented its operations and marketing, bringing in production and post production partners and clients from Hong Kong, China, Hollywood, Europe and Southeast Asia. He also supervised production and post production on prominent features including the Shaw Brothers - TVB Chinese New Year films and director Ang Lee's highly acclaimed "Lust, Caution".

Hong Kong's iconic film studio credited with launching the careers of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, John Woo, Maggie Cheung, Samo Hung and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. During his tenure as Vice President and Production Executive, Lloyd accumulated production and post production credits on over thirty films, including ten of Jackie Chan's. He set up and headed the studio's interactive and theme park design group in Los Angeles in 1993-1999, and was part of a small team responsible for bringing Hong Kong directors and actors including Jackie Chan and Samo Hung to Hollywood. Previously in Hong Kong, Lloyd helped to establish and run Golden Village, Asia's first cineplex operation with some 300 screens across the region in the late 1990's; and ran Golden Harvest's Panasia film distribution company, the distributor for UIP (Universal, Paramount, MGM-UA Hollywood titles).
