Working split between two college departments undertaking administrative duties, the Visual & Performing Arts department and the ages 14-16 department.The Visual & Performing Arts department involved interaction with over 1500 active students that attending a variety of courses, requiring involvement in student enrolments on these courses, answering queries and supporting them where possible. Keeping strong communication with the administration team, teaching staff and senior leadership team informing them of updates on tasks and projects, high amounts of data entry and checking completed regularly. Undertaking all administration duties for a smaller department catering for ages 14-16 students being relied on for all student attendance registering and following strict reporting procedures for absences as dealing with minors. A smaller department resulted in minimal management requiring self, time and priority management enabling the flexibility to implement self-thought solutions for the creation of faster/ improved processes and meeting deadlines. Taking on duties to cover for absent staff included school liaison and student discipline.
