Key Executive role for the hospital leading a team of dedicated health professionals to delivery quality health care services. During my time, the JFH team delivered multiple expansion projects taking the facility from 180 beds to over 300, providing additional services to the Gold Coast and Northern NSW communities. A key component of the role was recruiting and working with our many and varied dedicated Specialists.

Devonport, Tasmania, Australia

This Community Hospital was one of the first public hospitals to be operated by the private sector under an agreement with the Tasmanian Department of Health. It was a true community hospital able to provide services to both private patients and public patients under the funding agreement with the Department. This role provided me with insights into the challenges and rewards of providing services to regional Australia. It was truly a privilege to work with strong community minded colleagues and a diverse group of committed Specialists from home grown Tasmanian graduates, mainland Australian graduates and international specialists choosing to make Australia home.
