My professional aim is to be a portfolio manager.On the education front, I am Chartered Accountant and have cleared Level 3 of the CFA program. My USP is a combination of fundamental analysis with an understanding of technical analysis skills I have begun learning since 2010 and have striven to perfect over the years. Trend followers are often criticized and every few years an obituary is written about trend following while most fundamental managers under-perform benchmarks year after year are worshiped. Yet true trend followers have compounded wealth for decades and continue to do so silently and I wish to be part of those elite traders. I am a trend follower, currently am working towards mastering the Ichimoku cloud system and incorporating it with my trading process. My time at Multi Act has taught me the importance of paying attention to fundamentals and quality. When developing automated strategies based on technical indicators combined with fundamental valuations and quality criteria returns were magnified- validating the existence of an edge in combining the two - technical strength with a fundamental theme. Buffet said, "Tell me who your heroes are and I'll tell you how you'll turn out to be."
