Analyze and collect data for various fetal brain MRI studies that focus on normal and abnormal fetal neuro-development. Consent pregnant women for fetal MRI studies, and personally follow up with women and their children after delivery. Also meet with and collect data on 1 and 2.5 yr old children to correlate developmental outcomes with brain abnormalities detected in-utero.

Walter T. Helms Middle School: Taught 145 students at an extended-day, turn around model, middle school. Directed the 7th grade science department by creating and analyzing a complex year long plan, detailed unit plan the 12 units, and comprehensive unit assessments, to be used by the entire department (3 teachers and over 450 students). Students were typically 3-4 grade levels behind and over 90% of students were minorities.Juan Crespi Middle School: Taught 155 students (same demographic as above). 1 GATE (Gifted and Talented Education), 1 SADIE (English Language Learners), and 3 regular Life Science classes. Position was consolidated after one year due to budget cuts.

Participated in intensive training program to develop the skills and knowledge needed to achieve significant gains in student achievement.
