Every morning is started the same way. I acknowledge that there is nothing that life is going to throw at me today that I can't handle. While pursuing an Associate Degree in Information Technology and and Associate Arts Degree at Tallahassee Community College I have fallen in love with CyberSecurity. Our daily life, economic vitality, and national security depend on a safe, and resilient cyberspace. It is my unwavering goal to provide just that. I am currently certified A+ and NET+. This knowledge has enabled me to operate in Windows and Linux platforms and master multiple networking principles. My future goals are working towards a certification that I am extremely excited about... the Kali Linux Certified Professional as well as certifications in Ethical Hacking and SEC+. Upon completion of my time at TCC, I will be transferring to Florida State University to start work on a Bachelors in Science with a continued focus on Offensive Security. My Top Five Strengths Are:• Coach ~ You believe that every person has the potential for development.• Catalyst ~ Sometimes progress can be achieved in a meeting room, but deep down in your heart you know it's the action that leads to tangible results.• Deliverer ~ A person who is emotionally bound to follow through on all promises.• Self-Believer ~ Somewhere deep in your mind and heart, you know - no matter what happens, you will go through it.• Commander ~ In any situation, you enjoy bringing yourself forward to lead the team.I continually update my LinkedIn account so stop by as often as you like.

Receiving SupervisorBed Bath & Beyond Jan 2008 - Jan 2009Dillon, ColoradoMy duties included, but were not limited to, receiving shipment from various vendors and accountable for their accuracy, RTVs, store to store and store to customer transfers, damages/disposal, return to vendor shipping, product placement on the sales floor and overall floor appearance. During my first month of employment, the Operations Manager (then Zoli) and I implemented a back room restructure that enabled better truck to floor organization and product movement and ensured better loss prevention standards. During my time there I am most proud that I turned a 4 person operation into a 1 man show. I ran that entire receiving area on my own and only on very few occasions did I ask for a second person to help me out. My record at that location is 25 pallets in one 8 hour shift and to my knowledge... that record still stands. -
Store ManagerBorders Mar 2006 - Nov 2008Dillon, ColoradoMaintained a motivated working team of 25+ in an extremely challenging labor market. My responsibilities included, but was not limited to, hiring, scheduling, training and retention of current staff while providing them with a fun, rewarding, and engaging work environment that encouraged them to think on their own and come up with ideas on how to diversify the store's inventory to meet the communities interests. During the first year as Store Manager, customer overall satisfaction was raised from a 63 to an 82 by training the team in guest service standards and making guest service the #1 priority above all else. Maintained less than $5000 in shrink in a store that produced $1.5 million annually. -

Maintained less than $50,000 in shrink in a two level store that produced $3.5 million annually (planned 1.71% annual. Inventory reported 1.35% shrink). On a personal note, during my time here I was placed as lead in the planning and execution of the midnight release party of J. K. Rowling's sixth Harry Potter book "The Half Blood Prince" and are extremely proud that it executed without a single hiccup. It was without question the most fun I had during my time with Borders Books. -
Training Center ManagerCompusa Sep 2001 - Mar 2005Tallahassee, Florida & Boulder, ColoradoPromoted to Training Center Manager while at the Tallahassee, Florida location. Responsibilities included, but not limited to, running the day to day activities of the training center, person to person and person to business sales, scheduling classes, scheduling instructors, training store team members, teaching classes and developing new content to further the training center's diversity of offered topics. I requested a transfer to the Boulder, Colorado store and after reviewing the center's operations, the General Manager, then Assim Kazi, and I agreed that the center was to be completely remodeled, repainted and restructured while also updating its relationship with the rest of the store's leadership and staff. After completion of the remodel and within 60 days of being in the position, the Boulder location remained #1 in regional training sales contribution until my departure. The Boulder location increased it's number of available classes to over 40 and became the first location to start teaching the MAC OS as well as Adobe Products. While at the Boulder location, I obtained MOUS (now rebranded as MOS) certifications in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2000 as well as becoming A+ Certified. I did make an attempt to find my other certificates, however, this what is available to me at this time and Microsoft was unable to locate any of the others due to their age. On a personal note, I absolutely loved this job and the rewarding challenges it presented. -
Return To Vendor Team MemberCompusa Oct 1998 - Sep 2001Tallahassee, FloridaMy responsibilities included, but were not limited to, receiving items that were returned to the store and then processing, testing and identifying whether the product could be returned to the floor with an "open box" discount or returning the product to the vendor for credit. After analyzing the area's operations and partnering with the warehouse manager, it was determined that the RTV program needed to be overhauled and brought up to (then) current standards. The RTV software was rewritten from scratch using Microsoft's Access Database Software and after working out some kinks and bugs reduced the cage's value from over $23,000.00 to less than $1000.00 in a period of 30 days. The Southern Region's District Manager paid our store a visit and after reviewing the changes that were made, rolled it out to all the stores in his area as an official change in store operations. -
