Object Scanning:▪ Worked to create a scanning experience on a standard, monocular phone▪ Contributed to the creation of a custom Monocular SLAM algorithm tailored to the specifics needs of running real time on a mobile phone▪ Specialized in the map initialization piece of the SLAM algorithm, ensuring reliable initial poses were provided▪ Also specialized in camera calibration, as there are many unique problems with phone cameras such as rolling shutter and auto focus.HoloLens:▪ Worked on the early versions of the HoloLens device, handling pre-release builds, changing development cycles, and many unknowns.▪ Developed various features around calls between multiple HoloLens devices, debugged camera drivers, and helped with designing and testing user experiences.▪ Researched, designed, and created virtual driver system to allow NUI enabled devices to surface as webcams▪ Research and designed API requirements and constraints concerning properties of Color, Depth, and IR sensor streams that enable FaceAuth▪ Shipped Skype for HololensKinect for Windows:▪ Implemented unit testing of source code in the Kinect for Windows v2 COM APIs▪ Shipped Kinect For Windows v2
