A Systems Engineer with 25+ years in medical device industry.Leader through all phases of product development: proof of concept, system-level design specifications (hardware & software), risk analysis, usability and human factors, prototyping, integration, verification and validation tests, coordinating R&D collaboration with other companies, manufacturing and field tech support/troubleshooting, regulatory submission, and market release.Although most of my career has been in R&D of medical products, it is the “finish line” that I’ve become most passionate about. i.e. Verification, Validation &/or Clinical Application Engineering. If career happiness comes from the intersection of what you love doing, what you’re good at, and what your employer needs, then for me that involves Verification, Validation, &/or Clinical Application Engineering. I especially enjoy the teaching and interacting with end users.
