It's been a great career and it's time to step away from the corporate world and focus on the family and living life. Never having been a great fan of golf, I'll continue to mountain bike and hike, Jeep the 4x4 trails, and I'm picking up chess playing tournaments again after a 40 year hiatus.

Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Austin Ridge Riders Mountain Bike Club 501(c) Non-Profit Organization. Responsible for all aspects of marketing the ARR to the riders and land managers in Central Texas to develop a world class mountain biking community and trail system by promoting enjoyment of the sport, education, advocacy, and trail stewardship. Accomplishments: Developed the club Brand, instituted Vision/Mission/Goal statements, and designed a modernized logo to declare the purpose of our organization and define the reason for our existence. These provide the framework and context to help guide our strategies and actions, and help guide decision-making internally while articulating our mission to our most important "customers": the land owners and mountain biking community. Significantly improved communication via a redesigned web page and high level of social media integration including Facebook, Twitter, Meetup, email, and newsletters. Successfully led the cross-company team with a $40M R&D budget and $1B+ revenue on an aggressive schedule for an APU through Concept and Plan Exit, driving all aspects of the program including: architecture, implementation, design, verification, validation, and release to manufacturing.• Implemented an aggressive schedule to close performance and cost issues for Concept Exit. Developed and led a worldwide R&D engineering organization of 200+ employees for the design of server and client solutions and silicon validation for AMD's CPU/APUs. Drove all aspects of system design: design rules and documentation, reference platforms including BIOS, firmware, and drivers, verification, validation of silicon and system to meet quality standards, customer enablement and support to launch consumer and commercial server and client computer systems. • Built and led the global R&D design centers in North America and Asia, balancing the demands of time to market, development and product cost, quality, resources, and scope. Developed skills in China team to own and deliver complex products to manufacturing. • Developed server and client solutions for AMD's Bobcat, Jaguar, & Bulldozer processors that surpassed customer expectations and successfully launched in the market windows.
