Lloyd specialises in governance, financial services and funds management, helping clients with a wide range of corporate and financial services issues, and is recognised by Chambers Asia Pacific and the Asia Pacific Legal 500 as a Leading Individual/Band 1 in Investment Funds. In governance roles, Lloyd has served as:-Board member Lawyers for Climate Action NZ Inc (2019 - ongoing);-Board member The Banking & Financial Services Law Association (2016 - ongoing);-Chair MinterEllisonRuddWatts (2017 - 2018);-Board member MinterEllisonRuddWatts (2010 - 2018);-Director of AMP Services (NZ) Limited and AMP Superannuation (NZ) Limited (2010 -2011);-Advisory board member Transfield Services (NZ) Limited (2007 -2009);-Member of the Securities Commission of New Zealand (1999 - 2006), including as Acting Chairman;-Chairman and lead director on the boards of Soprole SA and Prolesur SA in Chile (2002 -2006). In 2007-8, Lloyd was General Counsel at Landco Land Developments Ltd, through the restructuring and sale to Todd Capital. From1998 to 2006, Lloyd held a number of senior management roles at Fonterra/NZDB, the world’s 6th largest dairy products company, and NZ’s largest corporate. Lloyd has completed the International Directors Programme at INSEAD and the Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD, and in Financial Management from Cornell University.
