As a Talent Acquisition Specialist for Energy Dispatch, I supported the entirety of the Talent Acquisition process by being responsible for the recruiting and hiring process including but not limited to sourcing, screening, interviewing and offers. I consistently utilized key networks to leverage talent and maintain creativity in the recruiting process. I helped implement programs for the purpose of improving and sustaining employee engagement and for maintaining exemplary customer service throughout the hiring process.

As a Branch Manager, I managed overall performance of the four core areas of our business; retention, customer service, growth, and Operating Profit. As an Assistant Manager you are known as the quarterback of the branch because you control the flow of the day. I had to manage our fleet daily which helped me fine tune my organizational and time management skills. I had to know where my employees were at all times to maximize efficiency of pick ups, understand what vehicle they needed to fulfill their customer's needs, have sell up options ready to go, while pulling any vehicle in our fleet needing any sort of maintenance or had been sold. I was responsible to train and develop my employees to increase branch sales by using the 4-step sales process to promote and sell optional protection products, sell up customers into nicer vehicles by explaining the features and benefits of the upgrade, fuel options and additional equipment. I would also oversee employees throughout the day to ensure the highest level of customer service was given. Customer service is our way of life, and I made sure that my team understood the importance of that founding value.

Being a biology major didn't worry me entering this position because I knew going through the Management Trainee program I would be taught everything I needed to know to run a successful million-dollar business. I get bored easily, so this fast-paced environment was a perfect fit! In this position I learned the importance of providing outstanding customer service, how to capitalize on a sale during a transaction, how to be effective in the marketplace, and the basics of the financial and operational side of our business. I'm a very competitive person, this performance based structure allowed me to stand out amongst my peers. I understood from the beginning what opportunities were available at Enterprise, which created an itch of wanting more and to become a leader within our region.
