Lloyd has been active in the real estate, film and art businesses for over 35 years. A developer, investor and advisor, Lloyd had a long term independent production deal with Universal Pictures. He designed and taught courses on "story creation" at Washington University in St. Louis and lectured around the country from the Pentagon and White House to Harvard, Yale and most other universities on"content creation, imaging, messaging design and distribution".He is a sought after lecturer and advisor in both real estate and film silos.Although seemingly confusing, these parallel careers are curiously and perfectly aligned.Lloyd began his RE career at the commercial real estate firm of Julian J Studley working on the sale, acquisition and development of some iconic NY RE properties. Lloyd then chose then to pivot to residential design, development, marketing and sales.As VP of Penson Development, he managed some of the very first luxury loft conversions in NYC at while working on the development of the 23-story luxury condo L'sola at 157 East 32nd St. As EVP of Foreston Development, Lloyd worked on the development of the 22 story, 36 unit condo, Le'Chambord at 350 East 72nd St, followed by the design, renovation, conversion and sales of 1049 Fifth Ave. the only condo at the time on Fifth Avenue.At Universal Pictures he served as Executive Producer for the Academy Award nominated film SNOW FALLING on CEDARS) and another 20+ years at his company: (www.the artistscolony.com).Lloyd was then invited to develop a film production program at Washington University in St. Louiswhere he taught content design and "story" for 2 years traveling between LA, NY and St.Louis.He was recruited by the USAF to serve as consultant in rebranding, re-envisioning and re-presenting the service, providing "damage control " for a military that at the time was severely unpopular.This was followed by consulting assignments for ConocoPhillips, Estee Lauder and numerous other brands.In 2002 back on the west coast Lloyd was lured back to RE by the Global Luxury Division of Coldwell Banker in San Francisco as Sr. Global Advisor.Now working both RE and Film careers from NY and SF.
