Lloyd serve as the Chairman and CEO of Biomed Industries, Inc., the holding company of NeuroActiva, Inc., Biomed Pharmaceuticals, Biomed-AI and BiopharmaRx. (www.biomedind.com) Our team has developed NA-831, a new drug for the prophylaxis and treatment of early onset of Alzheimer’s disease (“AD”). We have successfully completed a Phase 2A clinical trials of NA-831 on patients with mild cognitive impairment and patients with mild and moderate Alzheimer’s disease. Biomed plans to start two phase 3 clinical trials: one phase 3 program is for the treatment, and one Phase 3 for the prevention of Alzheimer's disease.

Co-founder of Neurobiomed, Inc, which was later changed to NeuroActiva, Inc. (www.neuroactiva.com). NeuroActiva is a wholly owned subsidiary of Biomed Industries, Inc. Served as the CSO of NeuroActiva, Inc, dedicated to the discovery, development, and commercialization of new drugs to treat Alzheimer’s disease.

As an environment advocate Lloyd served as the co-chairman of Clean Tech Institute, a leading research, and training organization to foster clean and renewable energy.

Provided scientific and business development strategies for the International Association of Nanotechnology (IANT), a non-profit organization with the goals of fostering scientific research and business development in the area of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology for benefits of society. Served as program co-chairs for the International Congress of Nanotechnology, 2004- 2009.

Provided technical and business strategies for California Institute of Nanotechnology. The Institute's mission is to conduct research and development and provide professional education and training in the frontier of nanotechnology to meet the needs of the emerging industry for the benefit of the society.

Managed the clinical research organization, specializing in providing FDA regulatory affairs services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Provide consultation in preclinical research and development, animal studies, Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trial project management. Conducting own research in drug discovery and working closely with the FDA to bring a new drug through the approval process in the United States and European countries.

Served as a board member of a leading international trade organization in New Zealand, during my 1-year sabbatical leave in New Zealand. Served as the program co-chair of the APEC Fair 2000 to promote trade and scientific and business collaboration with the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation nations.

Served as the chairman of Biomed Corporation with a mission to develop, manufacture and market advanced therapeutic drug delivery systems and biopharmaceutical products to meet the unmet needs of patients worldwide. Accomplishment:* Developed Paclitaxel new dosage formulations for the treatment of ovarian cancer.* Developed a new Artemether Intravenous and gel capsule oral formulation for treatment of malaria in tropical climate nations. Artemether is a well-tolerated and rapidly effective treatment for severe malaria in children with chloroquine-resistant P falciparum.* Directed the FDA regulatory affairs programs to launch new medical devices and new drug approval processes.* Directed the quality control and assurance and cleanroom manufacturing of biomedical devices and biopharmaceutical products.* Collaborated with the World Health Organization to provide medication and logistical assistance for humanitarian purposes.

Directed the research and development of new therapeutic drug delivery system for anti-antibiotics, anti-cancer and pain management drugs.Invented the nanomembrane technology for intravenous drug infusion system.Coordinated and successfully obtained the FDA approval for marketing of the new therapeutic infusion system.

Formulated and designed new drug formulations. Developed new HPLC and Mass Spectrometer methods to analyze pharmaceutical compounds. Conducted research on transdermal drug delivery systems.
