With 8 years of work experience in non-profit communications, I am passionate about developing creative public education and awareness campaigns. As Director of Communications for the William J. Perry Project, I oversee all administrative, communications, and outreach activities, and collaborate with a diverse network of experts, policymakers, activists, and media partners to advance our mission and vision. In support of our advocacy efforts, I have coordinated numerous in-person and online advocacy events, webinars, and conferences featuring high-profile experts, activists, and government officials. I also manage the Project social media presence to amplify our message, share our resources, and connect with our audience. My efforts secured over 30k social media follows on Twitter, and garnered media mentions in The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The Atlantic. Through my work, I have also supported the organization in grant proposal and report writing efforts, copy writing, and website development.As part of my role, I developed, produced, wrote, and recorded a long-form narrative documentary style podcast, AT THE BRINK. As host of AT THE BRINK, I orchestrated candidate sourcing, outreach, and interview coordination process for over 70 interviews with nuclear experts, activists, and government officials which included 4 U.S. senators and former President Bill Clinton. AT THE BRINK has been downloaded over 200,000 times, and has reached the top 1% of podcast listens in Apple Podcasts, maintaining a review rating of 4.8 stars. As project manager, I oversaw the efforts of a 5 person team to produce fourteen 50-minute episodes.
