As a trained physicist with a passion for Computational Social Science, I specialize in leveraging statistical mechanics to unravel the complexities of social systems. My research focuses on exploring the dynamics of large-scale interactions between individuals and the transformative impact of large language models (LLMs) on information processing. I am particularly interested in online community structure formation and its influence on offline action, and also in investigating the inherent biases and downfalls of LLMs. Additional research interests are advancing approaches to understand the construction and composition of urban environments and to understand how the connection between different areas of knowledge fosters innovative, disruptive ideas. By applying quantitative methods to social phenomena, I aim to uncover insights that drive progress and inform decision-making in our increasingly interconnected world.
