I enjoy finding elegant solutions for complex problems. My role includes taking select elements of a strategic plan, building projects around them, and guiding them to fruition. Lately, most of my projects involve emergency management. I facilitate development of the WA State Emergency Repatriation Plan (SERP). The SERP requires complex preparedness with local and nongovernmental organizations, as well as involvement of all levels of government. I am the project manager for an effort to create a new Type 3 Incident Management Team with the WA Department of Social and Health Services, Economic Services Administration. I am a student in the master’s program at the Center for Homeland Defense and Security. My human services background includes a unique blend of direct client service, program management, project management, administration, and analysis of policy and data. I have extensive experience working with internal, intra-agency, and external stakeholders.
