I took up freelancing for the flexibility to care for a sick relative and continue my studies (which include an MSc in Computer Science and the ISC2 Certified in Cyber Security (CC) certification, and I am currently studying for the ISC2 Systems Security Certified Professional (SSCP) certification).I have maintained my freelance work and have completed numerous projects for a wide variety of clients in:- Sound Restoration and Editing- Voice Acting- IT Support- Content creation- Graphic design- Audio transcription- Computer build and repair serviceRecent highlights include editing podcasts featuring Mo Farah and other Olympic athletes, establishing IT Support facilities for retirees in South Africa and helping streamers set up their channels on Twitch and YouTube.

As a bookseller I was greatly exposed to interacting with customers of all ages, working within a small team to effect sales of key titles alongside existing stock. Key responsibilities included:- Actively engaged with customers to locate stock, make recommendations, and encourage sales- Worked closely with colleagues to provide a seamless customer experience, particularly during peak periods- Used the Waterstones database to place orders and check stock levels- Enticed new customers to join the Waterstones Plus loyalty points system whilst working the tills- Promoted new arrivals and sale items such as Book of the Month and Buy One Get One Half Price

-First port of call for all franchise audio requirements.-Responsible for audio content and decisions, in addition to responsibilities carried out as Audio Technician.-Manager of music transcribers and their assets, implementing fixes and liaising with Licensing team members to meet Label, Publisher and Artist requirements.

-Editor of all game audio song content for SingStar, DanceStar Party, Everybody Dance franchises.-Implementing vocal reduction effects via plugins on licensed in-game music.-Preparation of audio sync assets for dance shoots, liaising directly with choreographers to meet their needs.-Sound design and music editing for franchise-related promotional videos.

-In-house tester of all SingStar PS2 song content and functionality.-Manager and trainer of new testers during handover period after job role change.
