I am an entrepreneur and innovation executive, with a passion for identifying growth opportunities, fomenting intrapreneurial corporate culture, standing up and evolving the capabilities and organizational structures needed for enterprises to thrive and grow in a fast paced and customer-centric world. I am thirsty for learning, and always looking for ways to use technology as a catalyst for business impact and outstanding customer experiences. Moments that make me most proud are also the most spontaneous - those small, brief ones when somebody thanks me for, somehow, having helped them grow; that's true giftwork.I love to travel, to contemplate the profound beauty and vastness of nature and nurture connections around the globe. And I am a Flamengo fan! :-)

AdvisorCi&T Nov 2024 - PresentNew York, Ny, UsAfter an incredible 27-year journey with CI&T, I've decided to retire from my executive position to pursue a new phase in my career, focusing on board opportunities and strategic advisory roles. With my unwavering confidence in CI&T's continued success, I remain connected as an advisor while I'm energized about expanding my horizons. I'm looking forward to contributing my experience and insights across different ventures and initiatives. -
Partner, Evp At Ci&TCi&T Jan 2017 - Oct 2024New York, Ny, UsLed the integration of Strategy and CX capabilities in North America and Australia through an M&A strategy, being responsible for the business diligence and integration of two acquisitions in the US (2017 and 2022), and one acquisition in Australia (2022). As one of the three most senior partners at CI&T, was side by side with CI&T’s three founders on the balcony of the NY Stock Exchange, ringing the bell at the IPO in 2021 (NYSE:CINT). Expanded APAC presence into Australia, Singapore and the Philippines, diversifying talent availability, currency and market risk. CI&T reached nearly 7,000 people world-wide, with 65% of the revenue coming from outside of Brazil. North-America responds to 45% of the total business, and APAC 5% - a trajectory immensely impacted by my leadership since joining as employee #12 and taking the company globally.More recently, with seven SVPs as direct reports, was responsible for a complete sales overhaul, establishing a new industry-vertical go-to-market approach, hiring new senior sales executives and establishing a stronger global partnerships structure. Revamped the sales process, trained the entire global organization and embedded steps in the day to day tooling and activities for true cultural change. Completely transformed forecast assertiveness and revenue risk management at the board level by establishing new business development dashboards for pipeline management and forecast predictability for CI&T as a whole. Deeply involved in CI&T’s AI-first strategy, with the launch of CI&T/FLOW (a multi-LLM, secure enterprise-grade AI platform for coders and non-coders) in June of 2023 and the creation of a framework to overcome barriers of adoption. In 2024 CI&T achieved 80% of the workforce embracing it daily, generating over 50% efficiency gains and turning CI&T/FLOW the company’s main differentiator in the market.Statutory director at all four CI&T subsidiaries in the US, and board member at three CI&T subsidiaries in APAC. -
Evp, InnovationCi&T Aug 2013 - Dec 2016New York, Ny, UsDrove shift from IT Outsourcing to revenue-generating, consumer facing Digital Experiences, as well as a cultural shift from Project Management to Product Management. Built Digital Strategy and CX Design teams (Digital Studio), as well as the Mobile Studio, Marketing Studio and the Makers Studio, expanding capabilities far beyond technology implementation and into business value. Spearheaded the initiative that trained and upskilled hundreds of CI&Ters into Design Thinking, as early as 2014, to forever incorporate the practice in the company culture, being a key contributor to the creation of Lean Digital, CI&T’s strategic differentiation for several years, meshing the concepts of Lean Management and Design Thinking.Created from scratch the Innovators’ Summit, the largest innovation conference in Brazil, bringing great international speakers from BigTech and the startup ecosystem, for two years in a row 2015/2016, with thousands of participants. -
Evp, AspacCi&T May 2013 - Dec 2016New York, Ny, UsOversight of the Asia Pacific and Japan business, coaching and leading regional executives, building company culture, and leveraging global relationships. Evp, International BusinessCi&T Aug 2006 - Apr 2013New York, Ny, UsRelocated with family from Brazil to start and run CI&T in the US. As a company officer, drove dramatic growth for CI&T (5x in the first year) and built the company culture overseas, developing marquee accounts and lasting relationships with client, primarily in the US, but also in Europe, and through a Joint Venture in APAC (Japan-China). Built the whole team from scratch (consulting, design, project management, marketing, sales), leveraging a mix of local hires and expats. When I left this position, CI&T had 4 offices in the US (Philly, NJ, Atlanta, SoCal) with 30 onsite people and 300+ nearshore, and accounted for over 30% of the total business. During this time CI&T was recognized every single year as a Great Place to Work, improving its ranking position year after year. Recognized as a Top 10 in the Power 50 Ranking from Nearshore Americas for impact in the whole industry.Developed the first Agile projects in 2006-2007, and worked with companies such as Yahoo!, Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer. Developed strong analyst relations with Forrester Research and Gartner, being mentioned in several reports, and elevated partnership with Google, focusing on Cloud and Big Data. Envisioned early and executed strategy focused on the convergence of marketing and technology, setting up CI&T CreativeLab in 2008, a team of UX/UI Designers and Creative Directors seamlessly embedded in our software engineering processes. -
Director, International BusinessesCi&T Nov 2004 - Jul 2006New York, Ny, UsLed a consortium of companies from Campinas, Brazil, named Actminds, into the US market. Responsible for defining the strategy, market segment, offering and go-to-market approach..Developed the first clients in the US for CI&T, initially traveling from Brazil, and then defining corporate structure and creating legal entity. Run market research to define location and target market. Fully responsible for the P&L and success of the business abroad. -
Marketing DirectorCi&T Jan 2003 - Dec 2004New York, Ny, UsHaving established the sales function, it was time to structure a marketing function that could propel CI&T into rapid growth and create the conditions to expand into markets other than Brazil. I developed the team and explored go-to-market strategies well aligned with partners such as IBM and BEA Systems. During this time I also led the first steps of what would later become a spin-off, Sensedia. Alongside my co-founder I wrote the research project that provided the grant to develop the platform’s initial version, and signed in the first enterprise clients. -
General Manager - SalesCi&T Jan 2001 - Dec 2003New York, Ny, UsAfter the success with the Professional Services business, which had gone from one-person to an established structure with several dedicated consultants and sales people, it was time to hand that over and set up a proper sales function for CI&T as a whole (until then sales was done by the founder/CEO with help from the most senior devs). I built the team, established the sales process and CRM platform, and started a new phase of scale for the company. During this time I also started venturing in the US market, running our first trade show in the Javits Center, NY in June 2001, and presenting a case study at the global 2003 Rational Users Conference alongside BankBoston in Orlando, FL. -
General Manager - Professional ServicesCi&T Aug 1998 - Dec 2001New York, Ny, UsI started my intrapreneurial journey early on, building an entirely new business focused on high-end consulting services on software development processes and reselling software engineering tools. The business was based on a partnership with Rational Software (later acquired by IBM), which was cutting-edge at that time (UML, Rational Rose, RUP - nothing could sound more up-to-date in the pre-agile world). Fully responsible for the P&L and accountable for the new business. It was an intense learning experience with a strong focus on sales which allowed CI&T to expand its reach and develop several new enterprise clients. -
DeveloperCi&T Aug 1997 - Jul 1998New York, Ny, UsI used to be a great developer, believe me!!! :-)After two research projects during college, one in Assisted Medical Diagnosis (aka AI in medicine) and another in 3D Image Rendering, I was hired as employee #12 at CI&T to work with Telecom Network Management for IBM, collaborating with teams in La Gaude, France, and Fort Lauderdale, US from our humble headquarters in Campinas, Brazil. I was working with Java, C++ and VRML back in 1996-97. A young kid who loved OO design and computer graphics. -
Co-Founder And Board AdvisorSensedia Jan 2006 - PresentCampinas, Sp, BrSensedia is a leading iPaaS and API Management Platform recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant and Forrester Wave Report, which I co-founded as part of my intrapreneurial journey at CI&T. I led the business unit which developed the product and its first enterprise clients, until we received pre-seed funding and the company was spun-off. Since then Sensedia kept growing continuously and organically, and in 2022 it received new funding from Riverwood Partners for international expansion. It is currently the dominant player in LATAM in both API Management and Open Finance solutions, and it’s making good strides in the North-American market. I remain an advisor to the board on strategy, go-to-market and global expansion. -
Board MemberNearshore Executive Alliance Mar 2011 - Apr 2013Member of the first cohort of executive directors that set the foundations of the then-newly created NEA (Nearshore Executive Alliance), establishing goals, influencing the industry through analyst relationships, demonstrating the benefits of nearshore through public speaking and published articles, and creating a vetted public directory of Nearshore providers. NEA merged with the Sourcing Industry Group (SIG) to become the ‘LatAm Alliance, a SIG Advisory Counci’ in 2016.
