About Logan Smith
Architecture and construction technologist, AR developer and educator. (and VR and MR and XR and cetera)My background is in architecture, but in 2017 I veered off of the traditional architecture track to take a more direct role in the spatial computing revolution happening to the building industry. It is an extremely exciting time to be pushing into new design technology. I build VR experiences, develop custom tools, and I spend a lot of time educating the AEC industry in how to better utilize virtual and augmented reality in their practice. In 2019 I cofounded https://www.argyle.build/ and dove headfirst into solving the technical challenges that have kept AR from the widespread adoption in the industry. We've made incredible progress and I've loved every puzzle. Also, I home brew, drum poorly, and I'm super excited about space for some reason.
