• Responsible for investigating fraud claims (ACH, check, credit & debit cards, online banking takeovers, wire fraud, ID theft). Maintains current knowledge regarding fraud trends and scams affecting the membership• Write reports and collect documentation needed to coordinate with law enforcement authorities in order to proceed with legal action• Develop specific strategies to mitigate and prevent fraud by responding to trends• Works with senior leadership to develop an anti-fraud culture by improving new employee training for fraud detection, providing bi-weekly education to employees, and recognizing significant fraud saves from the front line by awarding an employee every month• Serves as a mentor and fraud expert for new and lesser experienced employees, regularly sharing high-level experience and expertise with the fraud team.
