Head of strategic partnership initiatives at Gooru. Directed partnership strategy across content partners, technology partners, research and business development. Brokered and maintained relationships with the ecosystem of application developers building tools using Gooru's infrastructure. Developed community strategy for social media outreach and communications. Built relationships with Gooru's funders and supporters and identified and scoped complex multi-organizational partnerships. Advised Academic Operations and Product on platform message and strategy.

Head of open product strategy and development for OER Commons. Open initiatives business development lead, defines and articulates product vision, manages and supports engineering, design and outreach teams.

• Held progressively responsible positions directing the strategic vision, design, and implementation of ISKME’s open digital learning platforms for K20 education innovation, including the award-winning OER Commons network. Heads a distributed IT development team of twelve. Interaction design and user experience lead. • Served on an executive team of three that guides organizational strategy. Key roles included spearheading product and services design strategy, crafting organizational voice through public speaking, and brokering and cultivating cross-sector strategic partnerships. • Key achievements included growing ISKME’s visibility as an innovator in accessible technology for learning, expanding international reach through new open education initiatives in the MENA region, and building and actualizing a vision for K12 open education tools and services.

• Brokers, cultivates, and maintains strategic partnerships between ISKME and national and international education stakeholders including universities, policymakers, foundations, professional development organizations, and education content providers.

Manages user experience design, global strategic partnerships with education content providers and metadata and social media strategy for a global open educational resources network. Lead on technical project management, education market trends analysis, and information architecture.

Conceptualized and executed data management and control procedures for an HR information systems overhaul and implemented usability testing for a university-wide intranet and web presence redesign.

Directing the development of a blue-ribbon curricular design report for a graduate-level information for social innovation program. Involved benchmarking research, visioning, and aggregation and synthesis of advisory committee contributions.

Managed usability testing and pilot program development for a University-wide Business Continuity management system roll-out, working in partnership with stakeholders across multiple departments to establish end user priorities. Developed training curriculum.

Co-authored a paper on design thinking methods for IT-mediated service innovation, a collaboration between researchers at the ROSS School of Business and the design consultancy Peer Insight.

Provided general counseling, resume reviews, and mock interviews to graduate students at the University of MichiganAct as Liaison to School of Social Work Students and Faculty interested in NPM
